Monday Football Club

The School Football Club on Monday 25^th February has been cancelled due to a football fixture taking place at school. It will start again the following Monday 3^rd March.

A huge thank you to the parents who made such an effort to dress the children in Roman attire. They looked fantastic! We had a fun packed day, with some rather gory moments, and learnt loads!

School Dinner Money

Could we remind you that the cost of a school dinner is now £1.80. Please ensure that you send your child with the correct amount of money. Thank you.

Tesco Scheme for Recycling Mobile Phones

As you may or may not know, we are collecting vouchers for this year’s Tesco Computer for Schools scheme and we wondered if you have an old mobile phone that you no longer used which could be donated to boost our vouchers? Tesco work with mobile phone recycling company “Greener Solutions” to turn old phones into vouchers and for every working mobile phone we will receive 30 vouchers and if it no longer works, 5 vouchers – this is a very easy way for us to collect more vouchers, which in turn means more equipment for the school.

If you, friends, family or work colleagues have an old phone you would like to donate, please send this back to school no later than Friday16th May. Please be sure that you remove the SIM card from the phone before you send it back to school. Please could you add a label to the phone so that we know if it works or not. Please note we only need the phone and not the charger or booklet. Thank you for your support.

Easterford Pre-School

Easterford Pre-School are holding a Spring Disco at the Kelvedon Labour club on Saturday, 8th March from 8pm. It's a great night out for £5. If you fancy 'struttin your stuff' then please see Sam Flindall or Liz Gee in the KS1 playground, or call Sam on 572376 for tickets

Netball Request

There is a group of ladies who play netball on a Thursday night 8pm – 9pm, at Kelvedon Playing field on the all weather court. We are all mums who just get together for fun, to get exercise and have a game of netball. No skill required, but if you can throw/catch a ball it would be quite helpful!! We are a bit low on numbers, so anyone interested would be very welcome to join us – just turn up next Thursday night. Subs are £1. Regards
