Dear Parents

ASDA Go Green For Schools Scheme 2008

Our school will be benefiting from ASDA go green for schools vouchers. We would appreciate your help by collecting some of the vouchers, giving them to your child so they can bring them and put them in the box. It does not matter how much money you spend, all you need to do is re-use your carrier bags.

Thank you from Ellie, Megan and Courtney (Eco-team)

  Football League Result

Howbridge 0  Kelvedon St. Mary’s 3

Kelvedon travelled to last year’s champions (Howbridge Primary) expecting a tough match. The boys were totally focused from the start and within a minute were 1 – 0 up through a rocket shot be Daniel Whittle. Kelvedon continued battling despite losing Michael Challis to injury. Sam Whitehead moved to defence to cover and showed that he is a natural by working extremely well with Joe Goodchild.  Meanwhile, Jack Tyrer dominated up front; scoring two well taken goals to put Kelvedon 3 up.  The team continued to work together to keep the league leaders at bay.

Goals scorers: Jack Tyrer 2 and Daniel Whittle 1.

Team: Michael Cook, Joe Goodchild, George Chappell, Daniel Whittle (Captain), Sam Whitehead, Billy Catchpole, Michael Challis, Michael Tye, Jack Tyrer and Jack Kearton.

MOM: I can’t pick! It has to be every player within the squad, for their great team commitment and performance – I was so impressed!

Good Friday Service at St Mary's Church

10:00am Friday 21 March 2008

This Good Friday the Children of Sunday Morning Club at St Mary’s Church  invite you to come and walk with Jesus to the cross and listen to the Good Friday story and try and step into that story for ourselves.

We will be going on an interactive journey following Jesus from the Last Supper to the Cross on the lonely hillside.

Hot cross buns will be served at the end of our journey.

Everyone very welcome

Sarah Openshaw

Foundation Governor

Yours sincerely

Mr S Taylor
