The Peace Child

We would just like to give a belated well done for all the children and staff in Year 3/4 for their wonderful performances of the play ‘Peace Child’.  The performances were enjoyed by many and we thank the children and all the adults that help make this possible.  The total money donated to this year’s charity ‘Farleigh Hospice’ was £318.60.  We thank all those that made a contribution

 Football League Result

Hatfield Peverel 1 V Kelvedon St. Mary’s 6

Kelvedon played their first away fixture of the term at Hatfield Peverel and continued where they left off in the Spring Term with an outstanding victory.  Kelvedon took a while to settle into the game but soon the goals came with Jack Tyrer scored a quick hat trick.  The team dominated this half and the match was as good as over.  During the second half further goals were scored and Kelvedon ran out comfortable winners.  The team continued to be first to the ball in every area of the pitch and the work-rate of the players was excellent.

Goals scorers: Jack Tyrer 4 and Daniel Whittle 2.

Team: Michael Cook, Joe Goodchild, George Chappell, Daniel Whittle (Captain), Sam Whitehead, Billy Catchpole, Michael Challis, Michael Tye, Jack Tyrer and Jack Kearton.

M.O.M:  Joe Goodchild for his solid performance in defence throughout the game, he has improved a lot this season.
