Year 3 Trip

The year 3 trip to the first Essex Schools and Farming Day on Thursday was a great success, despite the rain and plenty of mud - the washing machines of Kelvedon must have been busy last night! A massive thank you to all our fabulous parent and governor helpers, who must have had a very good night's sleep! The children made us incredibly proud of them. They were excellently behaved and were a credit to our school and their families.  Thank you so much!  We would like to thank everyone for the food magazines, which have been very useful to Year 3.

Football Cup Result

Kelvedon St. Mary’s 6 V Powers Hall 1

In the first round of the Witham and District Cup Kelvedon ran out comfortable winners. It was a strong performance from the squad, although at times we didn’t pass the ball as well as we can.  Some good finishing from our players and a bit of luck made the score line slightly better than the performance suggested.

Goals scorers: Jack Tyrer 2, Billy Catchpole 1, George Chappell 1, Daniel Whittle 1 and an own goal.

Team: Michael Cook, Joe Goodchild, George Chappell, Daniel Whittle (Captain), Sam Whitehead, Billy Catchpole, Michael Challis, Michael Tye, Jack Tyrer and Jack Kearton.

MOM: Billy Catchpole for his work rate throughout the game, great stamina.
