Dear Parents/Guardians
Questionnaire
Today we will have sent out a questionnaire to each family and would appreciate a quick response. This questionnaire focuses on your child/children and we are giving you the chance to have your say on the school. The questionnaire will take approximately 12 minutes to complete and the feedback that we receive from you will be used to help drive the school forward in the future.
Thank you for your time.

Closure due of school Procedures
Occasionally the school may need to close due to unforeseen circumstances eg. bad weather. If this is the case we will contact BBC Essex and Essex FM and they will make an announcement. BBC Essex will also list school closures on their website www.bbc.co.uk/essex. If the closure occurs during school hours a text message will also be sent. Could we take this opportunity to remind you to keep us informed of any changes to your mobile telephone numbers. Thank you.
Virus Alert At the moment there seems to be an increase in bugs around the community which seems to affect many of us. Please can we ask that parents/guardians are vigilant with their children and if they have a tummy/stomach bug please can you keep them off school for 48 hours following their last bout of sickness.
An incident occurred on Wednesday evening between
4.30pm
and
5.00pm
at the playing fields in Kelvedon. A 12 year old girl and her friend saw a male dressed in black acting inappropriately. He was standing behind a tree near the play equipment. When he was noticed by the children he ran off into Riverside Way and made off in a white van.
Description
Male – white 25 to 30 years, 5’ 10” tall, clean shaven, wearing black hat, blue Nike top, blue jeans, Timberland style boots and black woolly gloves.
Grumpy Sheep DVD
We have been made aware from last term that a few parents were unaware of the chance to order a copy of the Grumpy Sheep DVD. We have contacted the company that supply the DVDs and they can still make copies to order. If you missed out on a copy originally and would like to purchase the Grumpy Sheep then please see the office staff by Friday, 18th January. Unfortunately, the cost of the DVD will be slightly higher due to the number we order and we envisage this to be between £6 - £8 per DVD dependent on demand.
A huge thank you to all the children (and parents) that came to the Christmas Eve service at St Mary's Church. Everyone was very generous and we had a huge pile of presents to give to Homestart as well as a cheque for £408.
