Dear Parents and Guardians
Questionnaire
Thank you for your quick response in completing the questionnaire. The information is already being collated and will help us set an agenda for the improvement of the school and it's community. Your feedback is truly valuable and you will be informed via the newsletter on developments.
Parent Helpers List
We very much appreciate the number of volunteers we have assisting us in school. Many parents volunteer their time to work with children in school; both in their own child’s class or with another class. To assist parents with understanding what is required in school and to enable us to maintain levels of confidentiality, a new ‘Parent Helper’s Guidelines Sheet’ has been created by staff. This will be given to all parents wishing to support in school, and parents who are already supporting in school will be asked to read and then sign. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
ICT

The school website has recently been updated and the weekly lunch menu has been moved. The menu can now be found by clicking on the ‘More Pages’ button on the left-hand side of the home page and following the link. A spring term timetable of after school clubs can be found on the new ‘Extra-Curricular Activities’ page a link to which is located in the same place. Thank you for the feedback we received from some parents in asking for this service to be provided.
Last week we sent home leaflets about the BRAINtastic computer disks. Can we remind you that any orders should be returned to school by Wednesday 23rd January, in order that we can send them to Edalive. Any orders received after our order has been dispatched will have to be sent direct to Edalive and will incur extra postage and handling charges. A demo of the software can be found at www.edalive.com
ECO Team (Green Team)
The ECO Team would like to thank the PTFA most sincerely for their generous support for our green efforts at school. The funding they provide will make such a difference to our projects. The ECO Team will inform parents of the various activities that are taking place throughout the year.
